Molokhia Recipe

Preparation for (400gram) package

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Cups of chicken or meat broth

  • 1 Frozen Molokhia (400 gram) package

  • 1 Tbsp of butter or ghee

  • 6   to 7 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 Tbsp of dry coriander

Preparation:
1- Bring 2 cups of chicken or meat broth to a boil in a sauce  pot.

2- Add the Frozen Molokhia while stirring from time to time over medium heat until it melt and form a soup.

3-Season to taste with salt and pepper.

4-lightly toast the garlic and coriander mixture in butter or ghee. Cook until you notice the garlic is lightly golden. 

5- Add the garlic and coriander mixture back into the molokhia pot and bring it to a boil. Once its at your preferred consistency, turn the heat off.

6-Serve with rice aside and fried chicken.
